Guayusa is a naturally-caffeinated herb that is harvested from trees in Ecuador. Although it does contain a similar amount of caffeine to coffee, it also contains L-theanine, which modulates the effect of the caffeine. With abundant antioxidants and a smooth, herbaceous flavor with coffee notes, it is a great alternative to coffee.
