Also known as Da Hong Pao, this dark oolong is produced from thousand year old bushes on the Wuyi Mountains in China. Legend has it that this tea helped rid the illness of an Emperor's mother. The Emperor was so grateful, he sent red royal robes to the mountainside to protect the tea bushes. This tea was normally reserved for a king and his honored guests.

Suggested Brew
2 tsp per 8-10oz of water at 190-200° F for 2-4 minutes. Can be infused multiple times, each infusion providing a more mellow cup.
